Screen goes black "Input not supported" Help! Rate Topic: -----

PLease help me solve this problem. Whenever I run the game my monitor goes black and says "input not supported"
The game seems to load fine because I can hear the music(and the old version of the game worked) but yeah the screen stays black. I have the latest nvidia drivers installed etc, so I have no clue why the game wont work..

Add the following to the shortcut that launches Urban Terror:
+set r_mode 3

Then, configure your video settings, close Urban Terror, and remove the above from the shortcut.

Hi, thanks. Can you please tell me how I make a lnk to the launch file in Fedora 7 and where I enter that "+set r_mode 3"

For future reference, sayiing "Fedora" doesn't help because the difference lies in the window manager.  Now, Fedora's default is Gnome, but like anything in Linux, it can be changed.

Another options is to edit q3config.cfg that sits in ~/.q3a/q3ut4/
