Was wondering If anybody knew and easy player for the Demos in 4.1 ?  I downloaded seismovision 3.02 the latest one.  But it only says it supports q3.  I figured this uses the same type of Demo as UT  DM_68 .  But It is telling me that I don't have quake 3 area installed and wont open the demo untill I tell it where the q3 exe is located.

Anybody know a way around this or maybe a better program thats made for the demo ?

thxs :-D

:/  Tried it already Fate.  When I go to try and find the ut exe.  It wont show the file because its looking for a Quake 3 application. Thats what it says in (type of file)  and its the only one to choose.

I can put the demo's on a playlist but when I try and lauch them I get this.

Seismovision 3

X  The game Quake 3 Arena is not configured with Seismovision. Open  Seismovision and go to options and specify the path for Quake  Area.

You have to tell Seismovision where all the exe.'s to your games are that you have installed b4 u can watch the demo's

Im not familiar with this program really, maybe there is another way around it

Hah Good Idea but when selecting application Path its looking for a file type known as Quake3 arena Application. Even renaming it to quake3.exe wont change the file type.  so it still does not show up and still does not find it.

Under Quake 3 it has all the versions you can select:
dm3 options
dm_48
dm_66
dm_67
dm_68 <--- this is the only one Ut uses correct ?

and then you can select an automatic Execution, and I can search and put iourbanterror.exe in here, but this ends up just starting the game when I launch demo.  So it seems like I would still need another program to view the demo even using seismovision.  Seems kinnda silly, download one program to use another :P

I tried using wmp in the auto execution. that didnt seem to work either  :?

Rofl yeah, I just saw that. Sorry.

Odd that that doesn't work though. What does seismovision check? Md5? :S Doesn't make sense really for it to be so picky.

I though it does that to find out the version of the binary.
