Dunno if it was somehow already reported. Sometimes, when a vote is called, there is no reason/purpose for it.
What I mean is that it simply says "vote (countdown): - yes: x no: x" instead of "vote (countdown): g_nextmap whatevermap - yes: x no: x" alike; which means we don't know if it's a kick/nextmap/map/etc vote.
I'm using Q3.

that happened the other night, I could see the details of the vote but another player could not. Weird.
Sounds like packet-loss. Maybe vote-info should be announced multiple times (with a second between it or so) to get a little more certainty of it reaching the client. Or set up a seperate TCP connection for it, hehe

g_allowvote 0 ftw
YES! This should be the default setting.
Do you know how frustrated I am with vote spammers?
Everyone is enjoying a nice game on say, ut_subway. Then some shitty 6 year old asshole with ADD gets bored and wants to change map 3 minutes into the game. Somehow, the vote passes, and I have to wait a minute for the next map to load up. The same thing happens again in the next game.. it really grinds my balls.
