I have noticed that Mouse_4 was reconized in 4.0, but not in 4.1. I know I can configure it then swap out configuration, but this still does not help for the mouse_5 button.
Are there binds for these that I can set in the console some how. Would be great to figure this out so I dont have to reach across the keyboard to open a door. Has lead to my death many ah times.
Also Intrested In how some of my fellow UT gammers have their buttons set up.
If anyone cares to share some tactics. I'm new and trying to figure out some nice tips on Radio commands, ect. to keep it simple and fast.
Thanks Happy gamming

Ok I tried setting it to in_mouse 1 and it allows me mouse 4, but I would really like the use of mouse 5 also. Is there a way I can do this without goin into browser settings and setting my back and forward page view to the same key strokes as urt ?
I figured there would be a bind for the mouse buttons
/bind in_mouse 5 Ur_item drop, something like that perhaps ?
Also if there is a topic on all the binds and cvars a link to that would be great. I'v searched but have not found any detailed version. The Readme file didn't go into much detail.

I fighted half night with razer with button 5.
Bind keyboard button first. Next bind button 5 to character binded with required command.
But dont choose default button 5 on mouse which is not represented in Q3A engine.
Choose custom button (or whatever is named).
Should work even with /in_mouse -1

The best option for any game (since MOST don't support all the buttons on mice) is to bind the extra buttons to keys using your mouse driver, then mind that key to an action in game. For example, I bound my mouse4 (only thumb button on G7...) to backspace which I then use for Teamspeak, which won't recognize the button otherwise.
