Hokay, I'm on my buddies computer and having problems getting ioUrbanT to work...

He isnt running Q3...

It was easier for me to setup on my computer bc i have all my files from q3 and didnt have to mess with the io installer...

I have the files C://ProgramFiles/UrbanTerror

when i click on the .exe i get an error message;  GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem..

does this have something to do with his drivers? and how do i fix it....

hmm, I think the opengl setup from the quake3arena disk might set that up properly but I'm not sure.  Woekle'll prolly post soon lol. Good luck.

Off your q3 cd? or maybe find something online, not sure.  Maybe you should wait for Woekle to reply, I remember having this on an old pc back in the day but I can't remember what I did to fix it.  Ohh, maybe direct x needs updated?

OpenGL is included with the videocard drivers. NOT with the videogame (unless they ship with videocard drivers on them, which is unlikely).

Download a recent version of videocard drivers for his videocard.

Btw, why 'mess with a iourbanterror installer'. ioUrbanTerror is included in the 4.1 installer.

well, you know what i meant woekele..

and fate... i dont know i havent tried yet, i was wondering if you guys seen that before or knew what it was..

if it was something i needed to dl or if it was in the wrong directory or what...

but he had urban terror with q3 (lost his copy) a while back in 3.7 and never had the driver problem.. thats why i ask.

I'm not sure I do. You don't need to use a seperate io installer. Just use the Urban Terror installer.

Anyway, this error certainly means something is wrong with the vid driver.
