As Juno already said, getting straight to the heart of the matter, for "Clans" there's Euro Cup / Open Cup, for "Nations" there's Nations Cup. This rule exists to prevent Nations becoming Euro / Open.

fate, this isn't something we can agree to disagree on, the point of the competition, what it's supposed to be about, isn't open to interpretation. Without wishing to sound harsh, in this matter you're wrong, simple as.

And to answer your question about countries that have too few players to field a team under the 3 player rule: they just don't get to enter the competition, that's all there is to it.

Well, .PT took their stand and it did not agree with that of CB, thus no .PT. Unfortunate but rules are rules and all nations/clans must abide by them, regardless of what they think is right or how they interpret the rules.
