Can't find maps in the q3ut3 folder Rate Topic: -----

Hi,

When i try to connect to a server urt constanly tries to download the map. Even when the map is in my q3ut3 folder. As far as i know it only happens with ut_dville-v2 and ut_ftdicks. I downloaded this maps from www.ut-mapdepot.com.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem ?

did you happen to read the faq where it says to turn off autodownloading of a map when you connect to a server?

sorry,

I just found out :)

But i always thought that auto download was for maps wich u didn't have , and not the maps that where already in ur q3ut3 folder :)

Maybe server has different version of the map then you do, even when it has the same name.

Not really Aars, autodownload on will attempt to download all available maps or other unique server files. If you don't have the map and the server does, then it will want to download it.
