Once again its this time of the year where CB announces its OpenCups. This season we bring twice the goodness as we are organising a Q3UrT 2on2 Team Survivor cup as well as an ioUrT 5on5 Capture the Flag cup.

Some people have expressed their concerns toward the "lack" of a "proper" Team Survivor competition. As we are not "stuck" with anything, we would appreciate your opinion on whether or not we should change the Q3UrT 2on2 TS to ioUrT and/or to 5v5. We will probably open a poll on the cup page in the next few days regarding this, but if you would like to give us better feedback and make sure your voice is heard, we invite you to either mail the cup supervisors (dan@clanbase.com; blu3ys@gmail.com) and give us your opinion.

We also had a few comments about the fact that the ioUrT League is also doing a CTF competition and some asked us whether or not we were trying to "get back to them". The fact is that we don't, the ioUrT League is a very good league and the last thing we would want would be to "kill" it as some would like to think. We believe that there is more than enough space for two CTF competitions at the same time and that it will bring a nice competitive activity to our community. We would also like to point out that both competitions are different format, the ioUrT league being a league () while the CB competitions are cups.

Now that we are done with those points, i invite everyone of you to pass around the cup's links to your clanleader/friends so that we can have a good and active cup. If you have any suggestions for us, feel free to contact us through emails, CB messages, this forum or even on irc (#clanbase.q3.ut on irc.quakenet.org)

I created this topic on "25 February 2008, 08:42:56" 3 weeks before the cup started and a day or two after they'd been announced, can't do any earlier than that

A pm for the important events would be better, since I'm sure to read that and it means I don't have to follow the exact progress of every cup A week before finals or for example when you're opening sign ups and want as many clans as possible to know about it.. Stuff like that. If possible with a story + image already provided. Just as an idea.
