Mine started acting strangely lately, namely it got old and grumpy and it won't let you run it easily without keeping it in the lowest power setting.
This apple seems nice and juicy but then I'll probably need windows applications. Could it be a logical solution to get it and dual boot windows (and trio-boot linux)?
Would it be just like any other windows pc, or will it kick back?

from my experience with apple computers working as a tech. for my universities IT dept. i would say never buy one. ever. in fact, you might want to like....drive a nail through your thumb for even considering it. But thats just me
are they so unreliable? my main concern is durability.
why do you say that? have you seen them broken in a month of use or something?

this brings up an odd topic, how is windows any better?
and what would winantosh of been like if they didn't split up the original group? [winatosh is my name for them]
my mac experienc is minimal at best, how ever, owning a mac is only better if your a image editor by profession or something along the lines....

btw, I found out Toshiba offers on a significantly lower price a 2-card SLI one.
In my case it's not a matter of what's best when I use windows, but what software at least for the time being I'm obligated to run as efficiently as possible which surprise-surprise, they only run on windows (reliably and fast).
The main problem of alternative operating systems is not something they have themselves but third party software support (which includes games).
