maps won't rotate Rate Topic: -----

This is probably a basic question, but my mapcycle won't rotate. I read the manual..I will paste it, please tell me what I have wrong.

was that cut or is that like it is in your mapcycle.txt? cause if the answer is yes...then u should know why

Actually, if the map cycle did get truncated, here's the problem: ut_docks is listed twice, can't do that.

I tried with it not in there. Then I read that the last line needed to call up the first map, so I added it back in....either way, it just stays on casa for ever. I will take it out again..

remove the duplicate entry of docks from your config..

Then to your server.cfg add the following lines

//*** Map Cycle ***
seta g_mapCycle "mapcycle.txt"
Map ut_crenshaw
cyclemap

I tried taking out the duplicate...no rotation. I will now try to add these lines to the server config. Hopefully this gets them rotating again. I don't know why they don't rotate. I copied the mapcycle from the manual, then just added my own maps and made some adjustments. We'll See.

I took it out...added the server.cfg line, still no rotation. I don't understand. It just keeps going past the time limit. I added two more maps..let me repost the mapcycle2.txt file. See if anything is wrong...again.

If that doesnt work, try removing the empty lines maybe??
