Probably because there's a q3config somewhere else in your comp, where it supposed to be.
Did you try Start-> search q3config?

yap found it in

c:\users\admin\recent

c:\users\admin\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\recent items

abd in c\program files\urban terror\q3ut4 where i put it

theyre all the same

LOL? I looked there, adn there waws no god damn q3config.cfg, so i put it there. happy?

q3config file is in a hidden folder.
By browser type:

file:///c:/users/<username>/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program%20Files%20%28x86%29/UrbanTerror/q3ut4/q3config.cfg

Or by start search for "folder options" and enable hidden folder view.

After u can go in the folder and delete or modify you config file.
