linux i386 client: game starts; auth system works ..... "great" .... but i can't connect to any server nor launch a local game ( i can't play at all )
"client received signal 11 exiting" (which is segmentation fault) ( i read somewhere that 32bit libraries are needed, which ones ? )
- .x86_64: local games load ..... Hunk_Alloc failed on *big integer*
online games works well, but auth system doesnt work, ( i suppose you already know that ?)
this has already been reported and the com_hunkmegs cvar seems to fix it but please do something in order the game works as soon as installed for newbies that don't know how to use the console ! :)
I also noticed a bug but; i think it comes from the game engine since it occurs also when i play 4.1 with the last ioquake3 engine from ioquake.org:
EDIT: THIS IS NOT A BUG REPORT ANYMORE. THIS IS A SUGGESTION NOW. :D
the cl_drawclock**** cvars (by example cl_drawclockposx; cl_drawclockcolor) don't work well:
the cvars are the same in both 4.1 and 4.2 clients but ...
EDIT: AS Orbit MAKE ME NOTICE IT ONLY COMES FROM A RECOMPILED CLIENT BUILD TO WORK ON x86_64 (due to the c library bug i.e. the "mend.def not found", if you know what i mean), SO THE CVAR IN THE NEW CLIENT COME FROM MY CFG FILE THAT I WRITE WITH THE OLD CLIENT :>

EDIT: my suggestion is "We can set the position, shape and color of the crosshair, why not the clock?"
