The command listed is wrong. It should read:


cl_master "master.urbanterror.info"

Try this and report back.

Hi, I have been having the same problem with not being able to find any servers at all. I just tried typing that command into the console but it did not help me.

the masterserver does not change anything, since it's set to cl_master "master.urbanterror.info" by default anyway (on osx that is)

it's the same for me, urt detects the right number of online servers but only displays a fraction in the in-game browser (fyi: it's not the filters, believe me)

the only decent way to bypass that issue is to use this awesome little tool (applaud that man!!)

can one of the devs acknowledge this bug exists or maybe even better tell us you are working on a fix already?

thanks for your suggestion but my comment wasn't really a cry for help since the urban server picker is a perfect way around the problem,

reporting here was merely to let the devs know they have to work on this problem if they are interested in having a working server browser..

@thelionroars, can you tell me how to open the in-game console?

UPDATE: Now having found the .cfg file, I added the line suggested earlier in the thread.

Now I can access a few maps & only one TDM ([NL]-Waff-X-mas)

I tried lionroars in-game hitting the tilde button while playing this map, typing what he suggested, with and without the first slash "\" and got new list but still the same.

anyway, updating the .cfg file at least got me a little further down the road... I'd like to be able to get dozens of maps, but one more than i had before this thread is still progress.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. If you ahve any more, I check this thread regularly.

problem can be fixed, they seem to have added an outdated app file for osx to the full build..

Sorry, I think it's supposed to be \cl_master as others have stated. Anyway I hope KarlMariaSeeburg's advice works for you.
