Well from my personal experience newer graphic cards doesn't work great with UrT, since the Quake 3 engine isn't updated for it.
The problem might lay in your settings of the game.

I run battefield 4 really smooth, good fps, so i guess the problem is only with the urban terror. Maybe you are right, urt engine is not updated to let my nvidia run fine :/

I had fps drops too and i solved it by changing quake3-urt.exe to the High Performance graphic card my pc uses for games.

ShOxX i have fps drops with the "High Performance Graphic card", it's a problem related to the nvidia card...
