I'm a bit disappointed that the SR8 will be gone; I loved that gun. She and I had some goooood times. :')
But if you're gonna retire her, then I guess I'll have to learn how to operate the FR-F1.

Scratch that. I just read a page back. Lmao. Glad it's staying.

I have read some users associating "wood" with "ancient"... New weapons are not necessarily all made of metal or other materials. Wood is used and I see it like a decoration :D

So i read the past 3 pages, and this is what i found :
We are going to keep both sniper riffles, and we have a total of 3,those being the sr-8,fr-f1 and psg1.

The sr-8 and fr-f1 will have the same specs, meaning the same damage, reload time, weight, scope, fire rate...and so on.
In other words, identical from a technical point of view, but with a different "skin".

But heres an ideea:
Since we all got used to sr-8,how about we keep this sniper as it is [maybe with a few graphical improvements]
And you guys modify the fr-f1 to be more like a scout sniper riffle ?
So,it will have less weight[better movement ?]
10 rounds per clip, faster fire rate than the sr-8,but not faster than psg1,and less damage than the sr-8.

Lets say...95% to torso with kevlar on.

Cause some pages behind,i think someone said that sr-8 shoudlnt have 100% damage to torso, cause its to powerfull...
Wrong there...all sniper players will vanish then.
Cause most like the "1 shot 1 kill" technique.

Now,let me spare you the "google-ing" part:
fr-f1 : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FR_F1
Specs:
Feed system 10-round detachable box magazine
So thats allready possible without messing with the reality.

Weight 5.3 kg
Again,a good thing.

And,the sr-8:
Sr-8 : http://en.wikipedia..../Remington_SR-8
Since we allready know that it has a 5 magazine,we skip to the weight:
Weight 15.75 lb (7.14 kg)

So,from those points of view, this could be done.

All that i dont know,is the fire rate, and reload time.
But those arent some exact facts,so we could ignore those from the real point of view.

I guess that it would be nice to see a "scout smiliar" sniper riffle.

So frankie...could this be made possible ?

i have better idea. i think its stupid to have "little" weaker sniper. what about 55 body damage and 35 legs and hands. fire rate shall be 1.6 sec. sr8 haves 3sec

also reload could be faster since its lighter and easier to control (because of weight)

i think that would be quite cool sniper..... i would use it

about chambering. i think it could be cool to have chambering made if you are in the scope so you dont leave scoping mode.

seriously i want more mobile sniper  maybe if the hipfire and other things that limit current snipers could be lightened also (more accurate than psg1 on hipfire)

i actualy would love to have a secondary sniper but thats too much to ask

It is used in a popular free online game called Urban Terror, and in the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory mod TrueCombat:Elite
