UrT 4,2 - time to give it up

Seriously - don't include everyone in this. (I apologise if that sounded rude, I'm actually quiet happy :D)
I've been a fan of UrT since 2007 and I don't get "rolled" in every server..... but I do get rolled sometimes :D
4.2 is worth playing, you just need to find the right place :)
Don't give up on a game just because there are apparently "No admins" (Servers I play on do have admins most of the time)
The game will only die if you keep up this kind of thinking and convince others to quit, you gotta stay positive, encourage people to play :)
MESSAGE TO ALL!
Only a few short decades until HD, so try and keep 4.2 alive until then :D

Well the European countries seems to have the same... ol same (most populated, no auth) servers and (no admin) presence that it just gets ridiculus. You see players in spec (you might think - oh an admin?.....nooo....) and they just hop in 2 mins later.
B3 (self) managed servers is not the answer and when will FS force auth player servers?
The way things are - FS could save some megabytes and elimate radio functions (cos half the folk don't give a f**k) and just run aimlessly around (towards enemy spawn) trying to shot the next best thing that moves across their crosshair (if they are even using it).
Zero communication - near to zero team play and a lot of bot servers?
And Bavon - I'm not downing the game - I like it and just want to give FS some player feedback.
We register and auth for a reason.
(We know UrT is free and any assh*le can download it, but since 4.1 - imo, it seems that public server control/gameplay has deteriorated).
Border :)
As always - keep on it FS.

If you don't like how some servers are being run, talk to the owners and ask them to change things. If all else fails and you can't afford to run a server on your own, try forming a group who can afford to run a server. There is nothing FS can do to server admins nor would we want to do anything to them. They are free to run their servers as they see fit.

Just a thought.
How many servers does a game like Urban Terror need?
As BK said if they formed a special interest group it would make things easier to make plans but off hand less servers would be a good direction.

So if there was like an A and a B server (with each mode) for the main countries that are active?

Does Auth and AC work?
No point in restarting a server until that works - and you know that we are not getting younger :)
We - well I do - and I assume... some of you... have kids now and other stuff to take of (so I respect FS for finding the time to code and design).
I'm not sure what u mean F V when you ask how many UrT servers it needs?

There are serious limitations for Auth and AC on an open source engine. This is why we have to switch to an engine we can work with and keep secure. Then we can make Auth fully functional like it was in fstech1/HD and we'll have a secure AC. It's hard to do AC when the engine is open source and the game code has been leaked.
