texture with "_" not displayed?

All my textures folders with a _ in their name aren't displayed in gtk . is this normal?

Like I had to remove the _ from urban_terror2 to see the textures in the texturelist in gtk.

urban_terror2 would be a "child" of "urban" in the gtk texture list.
double click on the name "urban" to get all of the "urban_terror#" folders to show :)

example of what it looks like.

*urban
      -terror
      -terror2
      -terror3
