Strafing lag

I'm fairly certain its from the antiwarp setting, if your ping flux doesn't meet the antiwarp setting set on the server that you are on you will experience a stuttered movement when you strafe. This has been my experience atleast. think it has something to do with client prediction and antiwarp fighting each other. I could be completel wrong, i'm sure one of the devs will know tho.

Windows update, Adobe software update and more of such are known to download stuff in the background as default.
Also improper configured Qtracker has the habit to continue pinging all the servers in the list while you're playing, which would cause a slight lag

no strafing doesn't cause antiwarp. i meant antiwarp will cause the type of strafe lag he is talking about. <img src='http://forums.urbanterror.net/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />
I have the same issue. When I start to strafe, there is a delay or stuttering in the movement for 1 - 1 1/2 seconds. The strafe movement is slow and less stuttery after, but still not right. It's hard to play like this.
It's not ALWAYS there. It's there when my ping is bounces between 89-150ms. it's a very quick bouncing. When the ping is more stable I don't think it's there.
I know this is an old topic, but the problem still exists.
Any solutions?
