I start mapping couple days ago and now I have faced problems :-(

1. How to make mirror?

2. How to make no-lemming zone? :-D (If some-one didn't catch that...I mean Floor where you can't do lemming thing)

I use GtkRadiant 1.5I program. :-)

have you read the radiant manual? here is an online version... there are other great guides around, do a google/bing search

1) https://zerowing.ids...pndx/appn_d.htm

(it's the first one) mirrors hit your fps if you don't construct your map properly, i think you have to do some hinting, but i'm a noob at that stuff... do some research!

2) https://zerowing.ids.../ch07/pg7_1.htm

(ctrl+f search for cushion)

put a thin layer of cushion above where you dont want to lemming... or you can use a shader and give the texture a no fall damage variable (cant remember the exact variable... but you can look it up in the shader manual)

this is the shader way:

textures/yourfolder/nameofyourtexture
{
qer_editorimage textures/yourfolder/nameofyourtexture.tga
surfaceparm nodamage
}

save as nolemming.shader

remember to insert nolemming in the shaderlist.txt

this works 100%
