But you have to add some numbers or whatever to the player name for the autodemo thingie, else you would overwrite an already existing one. So instead of just numbering 1, 2, 3 etc, why not just use a timestamp in the filename.
Also sometimes while uploading a demo on a web server, the timestamps are altered on the file created on the server depending how it's done.

If I download a demo from the website of some clan, it's date modified becomes useless. That's why IMO the filename should be similar to what it is now.

Date and time in a RFC 3339 format, the map name, the mode, and the file extension. Periods should be used to separate fields (as the map may have an underscore, underscores should not be delimiters). You could also include the server IP and port, but I'm not sure how much information is necessary.
