yea that would be nice. after ramb said that my shader could broke other shaders i've start look to shader tutorial again.

just make your own shader file and name it the same as your own map and put your shader stuff in there so it doesnt conflict with other peoples shaders.
also, have you applied a custom shader on files that are in the directories of other maps? cuz that would be a real problem, dont do that.

Thats what i did, the shader files are all mine

no that i've noticed, however i dont have open the .pk3 file since i've created

use your own shaders means: dont just copy/paste or rename files. write them on your own.

example:

wrong:
foo.shader

textures/not_my_map/foo << copied line
{
...
}


right:
foo.shader

textures/my_map/foo << copied line altered so shaders dont collide
{
...
}



q3map2 doesnt care about filenames. it just cares about shadernames. and if you copied them youll mess up big.

hi all!


moonie have helped me with the shader file and shadername so im working on change the hole map textures, dude to real life work i'm thinking in have it done until the end of the week ( i dont have so much time now).

i didnt go to add no light in this b3 version cuz i thing that is better if i can release a map where u dont see that feeking red,blue and white textures or go to an other map and the same.

The lighting i do later amoung other things that u thing i sould change, fix or add.

Hi linessa. If you remove these sound files:

12354.wav
Brief2.wav
Brief.wav
Level13.wav
Menu.wav
move-dogfight(instrumental)-looped.wav

it would be good because they total to 27.7mb in size, and in my opinion you don't need them in this map. Keep all of the other ones in there because I think you need those, but removing the ones I listed would make this map less than 12mb in size.

Btw, the only jump in this map that I haven't been able to quite figure out yet is jump 18. I beat all the other jumps though. :-) I really love this map.

:D, yap pk3 file is huge, ill remove the that sound files.

the jump 18 is, in my opinion, the hardest jump and the one who make spend more time on, ill say , hum, 5 days for build, test, fix, text, fix...

Glad to hear that someone has already finish it, except 18 :D

That will probably help other cuz ppl are starting to thing that the map is impossible :S

I made demos of every jump, except jump 18 of course. =)

:D i'll try to find my demo of jump 18, i got them for the video... if i didnt find i'll try to pass and record an other demo

Btw, lol I saw the people crying about this map at urtjumpers.com hahah! Don't listen to anyone crying about jump 8. You don't need to "fix" that jump. I thought before maybe change it because I wanted to go as fast as I possibly can. But if you know how to control your jumps, it easy. They just need practice jumping more. You just gotta let go of your forward and sprint keys very briefly to slow down a little. That's all I do. Simple. Plus, YOU DON'T NEED A PREJUMP THERE! Lol that's why they're running out of stamina too soon.

In the second room (second jump), on the last walljump at top, did you notice that the wall there on the right side is sticking out a little? It stopped me completely. But I can get around it so it's no problem (for me). It just might annoy some other people though. Maybe you did that on purpose? ;)
