Same problems here. It seems to coincide with strafing too, if I stand still it works ok but if I strafe while shooting the gun will either stick (so it empties the clip) or it won't fire.

The mouse movement seems nice and responsive though so that's nice

Ya I used to get the same "input lag" doesn't seem to be there anymore.

SubJunk : For me it does even when standing still :/
Tested on an empty server, a dozen of AK rounds perfect when shot 1 by 1, then it suddenly got full auto as I pressed just for 1.
Well maybe it would for me too and I just didn't test for long enough, I'll check again

Edit: Yeah, I tested it again and it does happen when I stand still too

I'm still getting sounds dropped when firing, any more suggestions?
Edit: just gave up with the client, I don't understand why my sound is messed. But the HD mouse support is nice.

Check process/drivers/apps possibly power hungry/borked, update things as much as you can, disable everything not vital, scan for virus/rootkits/spywares. If it doesn't help I don't know what will. Except changing it entirely off course ^^

Well I mean my onboard sound can run 7.1 in codmw2 perfectly, its not a hardware issue imo.

oh it seems we have an issue with mouse buttons on raw; i'll upload versions now that have only motion.

Juno, the 2nd url from top is a 'only mmx'.

--

OK files updated with raw motion only, no raw buttons. Now why did that happen..

Did you try Ikalizer?

I still wonder what its default settings should be to be safer.

ok, Raw Mouse Buttons Return fixed (hopefully)

what basically happened was that they were 'read' every single cycle, but some cycles simply had no signals (the mouse was idle buttons-wise). The fix was to hold on to the last signal even if the game was too slow to get it in time. i.e. "d'oh!" to me.

I am properly able to test the whole thing now since my replacement mouse arrived (woohoo!) after the G5 I had, died dismally.

--

Glitch detected. It appears to be sending wheel signals for no reason. hm..

--

ok fixed. uploading soon (mwheel fix)

--

ok fixed and uploaded.

1. Going back to Main Menu is now fixed.
2. Raw Mouse Buttons works fine on very fast Beretta spamming.
3. Performance decreased heavily (tested both vanilla renderer Default & Old Cpu build) now I get big fps drops and I had to adjust s_mixprestep from 0 to 0.05 before it worked without distortion.
(tested with dmaEX_EffectsEnable 1 and 0 on 22050Hz)

s_mixahead should be 0.1
s_mixprestep should not be 0.5 but 0.05
