CANNOT LAUNCH UT ON MY MAC. Rate Topic:

I never had to create q3ut4 folder manually...Have you tried "repair permissions" after instal??
If permissions are wrong then UrbanTerror can't create or write into this q3ut4 folder

To do so, open Application/Utility/Disk Utility.app
Select your HD, select First Aid tab, clic "Repair Disk Permission"
This can take a couple minutes

Then launch the game

nope, still nothing.. *@!# i hate how complicated this issue is. NO ONE can seem to find the answer.

i'm stumped on why there was no Quake3 folder included with the download to begin with.

Open Applications>Utilties>Terminal(.app) . Type "cd "
Thats cd and a space
Drag+drop your iourbanterror.app into it. It should put the path of your .app in there.
Press enter.
Copy/paste into the terminal:
chmod +x Contents/MacOS/ioUrbanTerror.ub
Hit enter. Launch Game.

It appears to be a common problem of the zip not respecting the +x values of the linux+mac executables. I asked woekele to distribute the non windows files in a tarball last year or so.
