Second, we have no proof that he had permission... I mean there is no forum post that I can find, also there is no offical website where it credits UT. If someone finds one put it up but otherwise, this dude stole it from UT.

Offically the person who made Turnpike for COD4 didnt get permission. It was originally owned by Frozen Sands and no one of my knowledge from Frozen Sands gave permission so in its entirely its a ripped map and illegal.

Yeah, stealing is bad cause no UrT mapper *ever* stole a map from COD!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and all that.

As long as credit is given, I would think mappers would be happy to have their maps ported to other platforms.

That's cool that they liked it enough to port it.

What did Counterstrike name their stolen Casa map? I can't remember what their version looked like and I want to look at it again.

You are quite right! It wasn't so much a port as it was a re-creation. As it was made 'rougher' but still has basically the same floor plan
