Alright... got another problem.. Rate Topic: -----

When I reinstalled osX on my compy, i seem to have trouble installing Quake as it is telling me i have no volume to save it to in os9... is there not an osX installer?? Does this mean i have to reinstall os 9 in order to install my quake cds?

quake doesnt need installing. Just get the needed files and put them in the right dir in the right way =]

ROFL, maybe its different for mac, but my Q3 (windows) doesnt need installing at all. I just get all the files and put them in the right dirs (the pak-files). And of course the quake3.exe, wich is prolly different for MAC?

well you could not use an installer for the Mac . However you need to get the files .. nd the files are only in the installer ......... hense . get the installer.

1: when formatting your PC, back them up.
2: from p2p.

1. if he had them before he could back them up ......... ZERO good on a new install.

2. p2p .. Thats a great idea ........ ever heard of them things called .. VIRUS.

Gee ....... seems ALOT safer ( and easier) to just get the installer from the software company ..........................
