The nicknames you register (max. 3) will be the names you can use ingame, on servers with passport on.

currently I think it will/should be that you enter your passport ID in game and then it will start a request here for your 3 nicknames and you have only to select one of them in game instead of typing it manually?

I think it is a little strange that the name u register with is not automatically one of ur nicknames. So ppl could be running around with ur registered name as one of their nicknames.
