- What about a rewind function in the demo viewing? It already exists with q3mme (used on another Q3 mod, defrag). According to some rumors, FS is working on it, so... ? Is that true?

- The black colour in binds / messages is buggy on most graphic cards (pixellised).

q3mme's source is needed. they should have released but i only found an ancient version.

it was discussed when we were talking about 'motion blurring' in another thread (it has it but only in a later version i can't see its source).

In fact, it's not a rumor.

The project of a real "demo viewer" (with rewind function, real pause function and the ability to spec, etc) is already in progress (non official project, non provided by FS).

Needless to say that if this project is completed successfully, it would be an anticheat breakthrough.

with a good set of binds in a config, demo viewing isnt all the difficult. If anything what would be cool is if someone made a third party demo renderer tool for movie making!

Thats a great idea, perhaps it could be implemented like Counter Strike: Source has. An option on the Main Menu: "Video Stress Test". I think the current problem is UrT is bottlenecked by the CPU so there really isn't any purpose as of yet to implement a benchmark.

Very very true. One would think that FS would use one of the newer, better renderers availible today. I wonder why they don't make a change in that department. 27's stuff barely made a difference for anyone not running a 7xxx card or better, but I know you can push even higher fps on lower cards, if done correctly.

server: dedicated 1 still sends out heartbeats and is listed on the master server, only dedicated 2 is supposed to do that.

//a bug, not a random suggestion (I got the feeling that by now one has to point that out ...)
