BLACK MARGINS IN GAME!

Help, I have tried to change the screen resolution in the game but it cuts off half the info when you join a server, Everything is out of line when i changed it . I don't know what else to do.
These Black margins are F'ing me off . When i had vista it was alright . But now I'm Windows 7 and everything has changed . I have tried uninstalling(deleted every file of urbanterror) and then reinstalling and that didn't help . Don't know what else to do.
Any ideas i will try!

what resolution did you change it to?...
And whats your resolution in windows?
Give some infos...

My desktop Default which is 1366x768.

have you tried other 16:9 resolutions?

Im a noob, so you will have to do it step by step sorry.

Go to graphics options and change resolutions till you reach "custom", enter your desktop resolution and hit apply.

Done that, Doesn't help, Cuts letters off when you join server and when in game play cuts half the screen off as well...

Ok here's a pretty dumb and lame suggestion. Your monitor has an auto adjust button? I know my dell has a button i hit when something like this happens and very often fullscreen 3D applications cause it.

So as dumb as it may sound, find that button and hit it a few times.

Oh you're on a laptop, i see. Did you try playing the game in windowed mode?
