I suggest make the magnum hit 75 or 80 to torso and 45-60 on kevlar and with a little faster firerate:P

agreed pimp, also make it so the gun is cocked on the way down, shortly before original position. that way you can fire faster with loss of accuracy.

I really like the models so far, the jumping animations are still pretty strange but I'm shure they'll get better.

But you should really change the revolver firing animation: I know it's probably not finished, but the revolver kinda goes back and forth as if there was a small knockback and the character then steadied it again and AFTER that the real knockback comes where the gun goes up......
I guess it is because the normal animation loop just consists of a small knockback and then going back to the old position, and you just put the heavy knockback at the end of it instead of putting it where the little one is...

I hope somebody understood what I mean, if not I can try to explain it again :)
