Happens to a friend of mine:

It records demo in UrT till he stops recording.
If he wants to open it via UrT and review it its working.
If he starts /video and /stopvideo after the scene he wants to convert is finsihed, just 2mb video are saved in q3ut4 folder.

Thats much too short.
Ingame it records the video till he does /stopvideo but just 2mb are saved in the end.

find a program that can join avi files.

any why is it breaking it into 2mb files?
It doesnt usually.

what's wrong with my q3ut4 map? I dont have my demos or photoshots and I need it
I reinstall ut twice already but still nothing, how can I fix that?

C:\Users\$Username\AppData\Roaming\Quake3\q3ut4
Or similar. That might help

Do you see your demo files in the game menu?

2.000.000 KB = 2 GB

This is normal behaviour due to FAT32 file size limitation. So this split up in 2GB is hard coded in the engine.
