Catapults...
Advice Please :)

Hi guys,
I'm trying to make a catapult and having a couple of issues... I thought I should air them to see if anyone else has tried anything similar.
This is what i have so far...
the catapult arm is a rotating door with a targetname of 'catapulflip'. that is all working fine apart from the wait key (have messed around with various values, but no joy... the damn thing won't automatically close...
Then on the end of the catapult arm we have 2 triggers. Trigger push to provide the launch ('catapult') and a trigger multiple which targets the door ('catapultflip').
Then we have another trigger just past the push target to close the door again.
There has got to be a simpler and cleaner way of doing this...
Any ideas let me know :)

Try deleting the wait key and move the closing trigger farther, perhaps it activates too early.. I got it working this way

from first person it looks really bad. but when you watch someone launch it looks ok.
at the moment i just have the mass trigger above the push & flip triggers, but i guess this is not enough time.
so how to fix this? target_delay? but what is the correct wait syntax (can't find it documented anywhere)? does 1 = 1 second?

I had a look at the kings gambit catapult and it is very sexy. might have to copy the design.
But I have made a little progress. I have improved the auto close mechanism.
So rather than having another tigger in the air to close the door. I have added a target replay with the same name as the door. It works really well :)

theres the copy :p will modify bucket in final version.
