Hello,
I was trying to use the urtupdater ( for mac ) and i receive always:
Could not create the assets folder (q3ut4). Please verify the user rights of this folder.

how can i solve this?

If you create a folder in your user area, then copy the urtupdater file into it. Then run.

It is all about permissions, where you are currently running it from needs elevated permissions in order to make folders / files.

hey thanks, i created an untitled folder on my desktop, and added the installer there. it work again ^_^ time to kill more n00bs hahaha

Actually this seems to work for people like me who get a message about a corrupt download after downloading the same pk3 file for 3 times. Move the folder from applications to the desktop and update from there works great.

Permissions are always difficult when dealing with multiple OS, we will get there though :)
