Even though I have gotten past the lib error, the updater went back to running like crap. It will corrupt one file after another which in order to get all of them, I have to run the updater 7+ times. I have resorted to just getting the .zip of the updated files and distributing them accordingly.

ditto on still having probs with the updater under linux (ubuntu 12.04 server 32bit)
the pk3's update fine in one pass, but when it gets to the second stage of updating the executables and such, it checksum errors on each file .... you have to keep re-running the updater multiple times until all are downloaded ...

Hi, I'm |WC|Saiyan :)
First, Runamuk is no longer leader of |WC|. |WC|Presmike is now.
Runa kinda gave up on using the updater after posting here and not getting a response back from Barbatos.
I am the one that primarily updates the 4.2 server(s) for |WC|.
The easiest method we have been doing is simply updating the client and uploading/overwriting the updated files aka what Nikki is doing. then restarting.
I dont see the updater getting fixed anytime soon so this is probably the best method so far.

I'm still using Debian Squeeze, not sure about everyone else. The updated updater ( -.- ) worked well for the current version when it was released and hasn't worked on any release since.

Ubuntu 12.04 (32 bit) server here
Likewise, when the updater failed initially, I tried the "updated updater" and it worked for one version, then checksum errored on the next release.
So, I went back to the "stock" updater from the download section, which still errors as described above ....

I have the problem with updater server. With every update I need execute several times the binary because he tell me that the file updated is corrupted.
My question is, what updater I need from update my server's, this or the one on the official download section? It's the same?
