sudden lag problem
lag and ping problem

Because I've tried both clients and two machines and have the same problem on both I suspect that either the problem is my router or upstream. My lagometer is showing very low (thin) green line at the bottom (its normally higher) and I keep getting regular periods of big white spikes increasing in size. The green line is often broken as is the line at the top and the green line sometimes becomes broken in to small bits of line ............
Does anyone know how to investigate this problem? Where are log files kept etc? I am running on Ubuntu studio 64 bit (I have tried low-latency and generic kernel with same problem).

I need you guys to tell me what settings in network part of game to set up.
For me of course. I have 4Mb adsl connection. I have not have big problems with this until i instaled new update.
But it is, know to give me a lot Connection interrupted text and then i must restart game in order to play. That was before i instaled newest update.
Now the ping is in constant movement, it move a lot in only 1 sec (20,30,40,70) it change ping so fast that is almost inpossible to se ping values(numbers) and than game stop for second or two, like stop working, but when that pass it work.

com_maxfps "125" or "83" when your system can't handle stable 125fps
Do you share your internet with others?
Have you the same problem on all servers?

anything else is probably a networking issue related to playing on wireless, sharing your connection with other traffic, or maybe your location and the standard of networking infrastructure there compared to the load.

Why dont you add in gui this values?
When you say confused you mean that in gui max is only 42. Right? Guys put than in gui in next update. You mean to add 125 in console, like the thelionroars say it. Right?
