Well, just to stop the flame, 7of9 sent me an email about the NC on Friday, to find the way to work together. Sadly I don't check those forums daily, and I wanted to have few talks before post here.

ClanBase and Urban Zone ain't competitors, UrT is not LoL where people earn money playing or managing competitions, all of us do it because we like this game, and also it community. So we always try to take the best decision for the game, non in our own benefit.

A couple of weeks ago I contacted eya explaining her the situation, asking for some help, ofc she accepted to help us, but that time we were not sure about the end of ClanBase, so it took much more time than expected to make the first move.

I'm the guy in charge of Urban Terror in ClanBase, some members of UrT CB Crew belongs to UZ staff, so its pretty clear that the relations between both organizations are in good standing (we've shared bans, shows, broadcastings, etc, etc).

Like has been said, we are working on some new project, but until everything is set we will need some time, so its not a problem to start to prepare the season hosted in UZ.

The lack of public information, and also the title of this topic can make it look as a tempt by UZ to take our Cup, but it isnt.

I'd say UZ is right to make hamburgers, as far as they'd work on the way they announce it. As I just said to 7o9 by private message, all my messages were just about the fact that it appeared to be disrespectful to schedule that event the day after Clanbase went down. We've just seen that it has been less than two days for the CB crew to announce they already have a project they are working on to be in the starting blocks on D-day. All I was saying after all is that would have deserved some time to see what happens next. And I approve the miscommunication thing Sotone highlighted. That's all folks.

Well I can see how this instance could be seen as a take over but the other side of the coin is the opportunity for yet another organized event that is tailored made for the Urban Terror community at large.

Moving forward I/we/FS would love to see a lot more events organized Grand Prix style that covers everything from team play to individual competitions so if the question is should UZ organize more competitive events then my vote is F1.

I have talked to many who do organize such events and in the case of UrT it's all about doing something that others “might” be interested in taking part in.
