HOLY SHEET! Can you add optional freeaim if the crosshair will be kicking all over the place?
Can't wait to get a hold of this. Sounds like a lot of fun. You should keep the "old" UrT system too as an option when creating a server, something like mutators in UT99.

War is hell, that's why "fun over realism".
CoD/Bf/MoH is "let's fake realism and pretend it's fun".

wow I almost came
More seriously, I used to think Frozen Sand would not wake up until it's too late. I was wrong, recently, you've made me sincerely proud. (proud of what? of being part of this family)
p5yc0, could we have some info about what the laser used to do exactly? If it's not too much to ask
You said that it is now reducing the spread by 30%; how much did it use to be? And what about the silencer?
Talking about it, when will be have a silencer that is actually silent? At the moment, it's more of a different sound we get to hear from approximately the same distance. What about amplifying this a bit?
Thanks in advance

I think the laser used to reduce spread by 25%, or even 20 (might be wrong) while the silencer did nothing, although the description says it did
Also crouching reduces the recoil, overall you should be able to reach a -50% or something

All the changes sound awesome. I'm a bit concerned about the no penalty SR8, even if it means I might be able to hit more with it lol... I think that it will slightly break its balance. It's true, it's hard to master as a weapon, but that's because it's the most powerful weapon of the game. The only one that kills you with one shot regardless of Helmet or Kevlar being there.
Can't remember who said it, but there already are players killing with SR8 while sliding. I've seen them.
Anyway, I'm glad that UrT is livelier than ever and that it's still so populated and above all that FS is still developing it, keep up the good work! :D

Yo all, discussing of it I think that recalibrating hits 'll be really good for everybody.
Sr8 is good now, but using it and challenging some other sniper what I see are a lot of lucky shots like always.
Why not try to adjust it a little too? For me a beta test 'll be good enough to see if it can be a better game than always.
And yes remember that a BETA doesn't mean to change all what they want to change, for that they want us to give them a feedback.
I'm ready when you want/can to try it.
