i remember vaguely agreeing to changed terms and services recently...

and a few minutes ago i discovered that my avatar vanished..

on the profile of a friend of mine the same happened.. this picture was gone.. now it's back and on the top left corner it says: rejected..

i uploaded my avatar picture again, now it says it says: "pending"...

who/ what is checking those pictures? and based on what guidelines?

can fs elaborate?

I don't know, it might have something to do with the feefee/eric unban campaign

It has nothing to do with this, as BladeKiller already explained.
There was a significant increase of mature content uploaded as avatars, so we took the decision to manually check and approve the avatars.

Your avatars need to be "safe for work". No pornography, obvious trade marks, racism or anything else at our discretion.
