Hi,

yesterday, since i'm back from vacation, i was playing UT and testing a new mouse and i entered on a PT server, very few seconds after the connection dropped and since then i cannot find any server to play.

Just have this message when i try to get new list or refresh list: "No server list from Master Server".

Questions:

- Is there any problem with the Master Server?
- Is it possible to be banned me from Master Server? (i never have been banned, so don't know...)
- What may have happened?

I tried also to see if it was a question of updating the game, but it seams that it is not.

I hope that somebody can help me. I was a player of UT in 2000-2002, and now i'm returning to play it again. Very happy to know that the game is still alive&kicking. I'm a weak player (and proud for being like that) and a huge fan so i'm hoping to play it again soon.

Not sure what the problem would be otherwise, unless it was down for a short time while you were checking.

I get the same message when I refresh the server list. Any ideas why?

4.1 or 4.2:
if 4.1:
FS 'shut down' its master server for 4.1
There still is the master.quake3arena.com or the qtracker master (whichs IP/url i cant recall atm)
if 4.2:
did you check your firewall? maybe it blocks UrT's attempts to get a master server list
try resetting your cl_master to master.urbanterror.info
and yeah. maybe urbanterror.info was down for a short time for maintenance/whatever.

Guys. how can I connect to an Iran's server so that my IP will be detected as if I am connected in Iran (I am leaving abroad now)?

setting up a proxy in your OS network settings.
but
1) pings&latency will be awefull, because
a) proxys aren't made for gaming.
b) its still in iran, so in case far far away.
2) it might be there is no public availible proxy in iran, since i cant imagine a reason why i would want to have an IP address from iran...
3) why the heck do you want to have an iran IP? (no offense ment, also no need to answer this if you dont want to :) )

oh and yeah.
4) this is a little off topic :P
