Whenever I press U to open the main radio menu, the game locks up. I cannot get out of the radio menu or advance through it. I cannot even leave the server. Even the Esc key does nothing. I just have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out and end program.

Except that now the key bound to toggle the ut_radio no longer toggles it. It opens it, but can never close it. It's fun how we fix things around here. Just keep using bigger hammers.

Thanks for a great game and the update

Have you done so we can no longer use the mouse, while using the radio?

If I want to say thanks while covering, it freezes while I have the radio menu open. I understand that I may be weird by having the radio commands in the fingers, and do U-9-9 for example, instead of using a shortcut key. I have just always done it like that.

Now, if I hear or see someone coming in the middle of using the radio, I just stand there panicking

Also if I'm running to a buddy while doing U-1-6, I can not do that anymore.

SOLUTION!!

Open the terminal in mac osx (applications-utilities-terminal).

1-First type in the terminal: chmod-R 755
2-Search the archive Quake3-UrT
3-Then drag the Quake3-UrT.app onto the terminal

Example: chmod -R 755 /Volumes/DATOS/DESCARGAS/UrbanTerror42/Quake3-UrT.app

Just setting the x-bit (Executable) on the executable will work on OSX:

chmod +x Quake3-UrT.app/Contents/MacOS/Quake3-UrT.i386

No need to +x the entire directory recursively. For some reason, the updater didn't set the bit for the binary.
