so
I went back to free driver

I will try what you said
Delete
And install all over again

Did you have problems with the Nvidia driver before you tried 14.04? If so, maybe now is a good time to try again.

Also, you really dont have to delete your old Urban Terror; just download a new one and launch it straight out of the folder. The only thing that you might want to delete is your .q3a folder, located in your home folder, not in the Urban Terror game folder itself

And reinstalled
So far so good
It works



Except something annoying it might be a problem in setting
For some reason when I play
And selects a weapon
I can only choose one extra
Or laser intent
Or silencer
Not both
As before

If you are trying to use grenades too, you lose a spot for extras

mv .q3a .q3a.bakup

then try launching the game

What exactly is
This command ?
Apart from a backup

the .q3a folder is Urban Terrors configuration folder. The command I posted is just renaming the folder so that Urban Terror thinks its missing and generates a new default one. You could also delete the folder and it would work and you wouldnt have the backup up the old folder:

rm -R .q3a

When you launch Urban Terror, are you making any changes to its configuration? Are you changing things like graphics settings?

I tried to change the resolution to 1152 on 864
But it goes back to 800 to 600

Control of the character
Will be saved?
Like movement button or shooting ?
