Specific mute button function

Hi.
I have a suggestion for the game itself, namely a mute button which enables you to mute a specific chosen player. Yes, there is a !mute command for admins to do that, but not all servers have rules against taunting players which can create negativity in the game. The reason why I'm posting this is because I'm personally experiencing this on a daily basis, and despite that I'm admin on the particular server, it doesn't really help since taunting is not against the rules. Yes I can mute that person, but when I'm not there then the person will probably be taunting other players and so on.
So I just came up with a simple solution, which is to maybe add an function to the game where you can mute a specific person if that one is bothering you in game. Then this would be an advantage for everyone if there is no admin around.
Not sure how the developers are engaged in this forum and if it's actually easy that a suggestion here may actually lead to a change but I guess it's worth a try.
Sincerely,
Grutella.

well, serverside its mute
client side its ignore
which has the same effect for you as if the target client was muted.
also, there is a ignorelist, similar to playerlist
for testing purpose: you cant ignore yourself.

As far as I remember you can use us can use an "ignore" console command. I have never used it though.
Yes, but command "\ignore" requires the player number id, so you must use command "\playerlist" to see the number and the use "\ignore". Probably, it could be useful to include the ignore function in the menus with the player selector.
I apply the ignore to players spaming the same radio message repeating very fast, and causing it to sound louder that hurts my ears. By the way, it could be better to inhibit more than one radio message until it ends the sound.

I'm just trying this at this instant with a friend and it's not working at all. Any suggestions?
By the way I play the 4.1 version, not 4.2.

This is why there is a newer version available. A lot of things were added to the game for 4.2. There is no point in making suggestions for an out of date version of the game.
Yeah. Unfortunately I'm not comfortable with the movements in 4.2, so I don't know how I'm gonna be able to do that. But at least I can inform people on the server that it is possible, who play on 4.2. Thanks.
