We have a musician in the team and we are upgrading his samples to ones that work with 64 bit. What samples are you using for your music? We're looking at purchasing VSL (Vienna Symphony Library).
Do you really mean 64 bit sample depth? or was it 24 bit (like in Blu-Ray)?
64 bits in the code or the execution platform of the DAW are not related to depth bits in samples.
Anyway, I think that standard 16 bits (CD-Audio quality) could be enough, as most of the reproductions in the game will be done with low quality speakers or headphones...
By the way, if somebody is looking for affordable samples, maybe you could be interested in some of the free sound samples collection for the OLPC project, or in the Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra (both are under CC licenses). Do you know any other sample libraries with free license?

In that context it may be worth pointing out that the engine only supports importing 16 bit audio. I don't know if this is relevant to this discussion.

Yes, you are right. Reconsidering again BladeKiller's message, I think maybe she meant to upgrade samples to 16 bit (not 64 bit), because UrT 4.x is using 8 bit samples now...
Probably any modern sample library is at least in 16 bit, even both free libraries in my reply (free sound samples collection for the OLPC project and Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra).
In any case, any DAW usually can export to 16 bit independent of using samples with higher bits internally.

Just as an FYI, my audio was almost 100% done using "Massive VST" and then LMMS as my DAW.

How about we just use the same music and make it 'HD'? Now that you have permission. :)

Whaaat, blasphemy! That was one of the coolest tunes ever. :) Sadly we can't use it because the maker is nowhere to be found.
