a friend of mine told me to check 4.1 and i've tried 4.1 version while being a 4.2 player already. the impression was like playing next version of the game rather than previous: hits are better (yes, i know), animations are much smoother and overall gameplay more enjoyable.

Hits are definitely NOT better in 4.1 and the animations and hit mesh where an awful mess. Yes it may seem like the animations in 4.1 are better, but thats just because there are more of them. some of the animations where taken out for what I assume where issues or bugs with them.

I remember somewhere Frankie posted explaining why meshes in 4.1 were such a horrid mess and why the animations/meshes were replaced.
