When I first found this game a friend was showing me it on his powerbook. Few years later now I have an iBook G4 (1.25 GB ram, 1.07 GHZ proc, ATi 9200 Pro) that I am using as a whatever outing computer. Its small, handy, and the dev area is open on it, blah blah.
Short and sweet, can I run UT on it still or has that been removed? Any knowledge would be neat!!
If the bog standard download is x86 / little endian chips only is it possible for me to compile the game for Big Endian chips?

Your best bet is to try the idsoftware quake3 mac binary, it allegedly works. I have my doubts.
Maybe you can find it here ftp://ftp.idsoftware...idstuff/quake3/
or here
http://webfiles.idso...3-1.32c-mac.zip
You can also try building the binary yourself, But you have to use the frozen sand fork of ioquake3.

Do not try vanila ioquake, it wont work with urbanterror 4.1 or 4,2
It will probably be unplayable on that laptop anyway so dont waste too much time on it.
