Should i start mapping for ET:UT? Rate Topic: -----

I haven't released any of my Q3Urt maps so you probably dont know me as a mapper. SHould i start mapping for ET:UT or stick with Q3Urt and release my other maps? (dont expect anything fancy btw)

treat q3ut3 as a beta test phase, or wait.


the choice is yours if you build your maps right, porting isnt hard.

save us the pain if you maps are going to look like small boxes in a big box....seriously why wait? yeha i know there are 1337 mappers who think they can kick out a map in 2 weeks and call it great, but that is not the case, most of those suck ass.

How about they start with what NOT to do? By far there are more BAD maps out there to learn from than good ones. So start by learning what to avoid, makes your job much easier and the players will (not really) thank you later.

Stu, the same could be said about your sig. Start practicing what you preach, people might actually listen to you then.
