.md3 model help!! Rate Topic: -----

1. after i load the model, is shows up with no textures, they are gone. is this normal? how do i add the textures back to it.

2. how do i resize the model after i load it? i know how to rotate the model but not how ro resize it. it is too small for my map.

1) Make sure the textures for the model are in the right paths. If you took the model out of a pk3 you'll need to take out all the textures in the same directory with it.

2) add a modelscale key in the entity window with a scaling number.

problem resolved! it looks like blackrayne had a small problem with the model. he had corrected it and can be downloaded again from his site. as for my resizing question. i loaded the key "modelscale" with the value of 4.5. this resized the model nicely for my scale. thanks again for the help. and thanks to blackrayne for some kick ass models.

so if i have a *.ase model, how can i convert it to a *.md3 model for use in radiant?

I believe you can use q3data that comes with the GtkRadiant Install but I'm not certain. This is something I haven't done myself.

I'd use NPherno's MD3 Compiler Program.

well... im still a newbie there for I dont know shit.... at least thats my excuess :D .. i dont know i can say that for but im going to push it 8). for some dumb reason i thought radiant could only use md3. but i was wrong. i figured it out. thanks for making me think. lol
