Thats the link to Truck Dismount and Stair Dismount.
If you happen NOT to know then, then get them both.
(stair dismount is much funnier imho)
Thats the kind of physics this thread is about.
Imagine Stair Dismount physics on UrT.
(Yes, I know it isn't a viable option. This is just for informational purposes)

Yeah ragdoll physics is damn cool. Plus it seems like every new game supports them. I'd love to see it in Urt, but....
Unfortunatly it's not exactly easy or cheap to develop. Theres only two physics engines(for lack of a better word) used in games that are out that I know support it (not sure about painkiller):
Half-Life2, Farcry and a few others use the havoc physic engine which includes ragdoll, and the Unreal engine provides decent physics including ragdoll for R6:3, UT2004, PoP et al.
The change to a skeletal model system for et will give us some more room to move but don't expect the world from it.

there is karma and havok as major physics engines for realtime content.
but those cost quite some money, and would need engine access to get in, alternatively you can code your own
but still without engine access or at least "bone control" from within the gamecode, its impossible to get that kind of stuff into ET:URT
however I am sure that with some more death anims that are specialized (ie shot from back, shot from front, and not the old crap that is in now) and some pushing of the model and so on, one could create the illusion of ragdoll with current capabilities, 27 is quite a whiz when it comes to this kind of effect stuff, I am sure he will find a way to make the deaths a bit more exciting, and of course CGMonkey doing plenty cool death anims
