We have so many displays of them hosted at various sites.. Displays of skill or luck or whatever... but what has happened to the Level Teaser? Stuff like what was there for Crossing and Paradise 2... That's what I would like to see

I certainly wouldn't mind map teasers, and I think they'd be great for promotion of new maps. However, there's no reason to say frag vids should go, in my opinion.

I just feel there are WAY TOO MANY of them now... it's getting dull. Map Teasers and something else... to shake things up a bit.. instead going down the path "oh I'm uber, let's make a movie with a zillion frags in it" Haven't seen any real asshattery or blooper movies recently either. It seems all too serious at present.

Hyb, the last movie release (the one by n00b) was a humor movie. It wasn't long ago that Ayumi's fun movie was getting a ton of attention.

Not all frag movies are made for showing off. For instance, I released "Hand of Destiny" simply to entertain my friends and say thank you. Childe's "Rogue Killa" was a frag movie, and it's quite obvious that he was not conveying the message of "I am great, so watch me".

In a game inherently based around fragging, frag movies make sense.

That aside, I am not putting down map teasers, as they would be great to have. I just don't think that putting down frag movies based on a generalized assumption of the author's motives is fair.

Frag movie is okay, as long as its not half an hour of boring sr8 frags in a row.

People really have to select the top of the top of the top of their frags and put those few in a movie. Dont make it too long, do some nice editting, put in nice music etc.

I love the frag movies. Of course, the best one was the Coil movie. ;P
Rogue Killa was hilarious. One of the best was Bulletproof. It's only by making movies and getting others to watch them that people learn to make good ones and good ones get people enthused about the game. The more movies the better, I say.
