Lovely! I must confess that Sr-8 aiming has always been one of my great weaknesses of UrT playing. Even after over 2 years of avid playing I count myself as a complete n00b Sr-8 user. I cannot put my finger on it but I seem to do better with the psg. I think it may be the swift rate of fire that does the trick for me. I almost always miss my first shot with the Sr-8 and and up dead. :oops:

I feel inspired now. I think I'll go take a PSG and go kill some people.

well...in fact the psg is already a mighty weapon...just noone uses it...it fills the gap between g36 and sr8 imo...and there are ppl out there that take me out a lot with the psg

(k...its not uncommon that im easily be taken out)

for the sr8...well...i'll just wait and see !?

I'm going to unleash some PSG-1 havoc right now. I like the combo PSG-1 / UMP / DE or Beretta. 1 hit with PSG followed by some well aimed UMP spam usually does the trick. :)

I'm getting better. With TS on docks, I tried the PSG-1, SPAS & Beretta combo + medkit. Worked out pretty nicely. Most kills were the result of 1 well-aimed PSG-1 shot, followed by (depending on target distance) a SPAS blast or some Beretta spammage. Other kills were pure PSG-1 kills, mainly picking em off when they're busy shooting my teammates.

One thing is sure: I'm having way more fun with it than SR-8.

I'd love to see the psg be more useful. Back in the days of 2.5 a silenced psg1 was my favourite weapon. Hopefully making the sr8 more difficult will be enough to do it.
