You maybe dont have all the correct drivers. Try with others. (especially the vidcard ones, older/newer).

Which OS are you running? Do other games work? Did you run memtest86?

Yeah. Windowz SP2 is required. Or even blue screen. And second. Some part ov this ASUS -E serie had problems. Try to get know about it. And of course power supply is above 400W?

Running WINXP PRO SP2. Other games do work. And no I haven't  tried memtest. All I know is that my machine doesnt like quake 3 and that sucks.  :x

@ woekele Thank you. The blue screen doesnt stay on long enought to read, its followed by a quick soft reboot.

@ Juno I dont think its has anything to do with Asus. I think its a driver problem.

PB, go to control panel, choose system, go to advanced, press 'settings' under startup and recovery and tick off 'automaticly restart' to be able to read the blue screen.

I appreciate the help. I was actually using the latest driver from nvidia. Turns out I had to use the custom one from my video cards manufacture. All is well now. Cheers

i'm lucky i get no crashes then. toshiba wanted to force me use their ancient driver but i didn't want to play their game. ati tried to stop me too but i eventually found a direct link to it.
